The incumbent is expected to collaborate with IT and LIS analysts on a regular basis.Nature and ScopeRenown Health is a 24-hour/7-days a week operation, providing laboratory services to both inpatient and outpatients of all ages. Five years of experience preferred.License(s):A current State of Nevada Clinical Laboratory Technologist license or Histotechnologist license as the Nevada General Supervisor license is required within 7 months of hire.Certification(s):National certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP), Histotechnologist (ASCP) or equivalent is required. ASCP Specialist Certification preferred.Computer / Typing:Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems.
